<p>A detergent composition containing a mixture of linear alkybenzene sulfonate surfactant and mid-chain branched surfactant and an electrolyte is disclosed. The detergent composition includes a mid-chain branched primary alkyl sulfate surfactant and an electrolyte capable of increasing the ionic strength of the compositions resulting in improved performance, especially under low water temperature wash conditions. Typical electrolytes include sodium chloride, magnesium sulfate, calcium carbonate and the like.</p> |
