Precision positioning method for printing plate

摘要

Method uses optoelectronic detection of register markings (8a,8b,8c) in the printing plate in alignment with an exposed image applied to the printing plate, for moving it into a required position by orthogonal movement in a horizontal plane. The printing plate is held against stops on a positioning table corresponding to the required position, with precision alignment by detection of the register markings and displacement of the positioning table via controlled setting drives (12a,12b,12c). A device for precise positioning of a printing plate within a stamping tool is independently claimed.
