摘要 A vehicle stability control has a processor which is programmed with the vehicle parameters e.g. total weight, relative spacing of the front and rear axles from the center of mass, inertial forces about the center of mass, actual wheel speeds etc. The controller calculates the grip of the individual wheels on the road as well as the slew rate about the center of mass and the linear acceleration etc. The controller applies corrective braking to ensure that the vehicle has maximum stability at all times e.g. when cornering, braking etc.
