The bucket wheel (1) has a number of apertures (3) on its circumference corresponding to the number of digging tools (2), with a pedestal (4) between every two apertures. Each tool has a stepped underside. The first step (5) engages on a pedestal of the bucket wheel, while the second step (6) engages into an aperture. The digging tools are clamped in the apertures via wedges (7), which extend axially between tools and apertures.
