PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire loop-form setting tool for an endoscope, which can be smoothly bent back into an original U-form without untwisting strands of an elastic wire at the tip part of the loop. SOLUTION: This wire loop-form setting tool is of such a functional structure that enables an elastic wire 10, which is formed into a loop-like expanded shape at its rear part by bending back the elastic wire 10 into a U form, to be constricted following the action to pull the elastic wire 10 and consequently to become bulged into a loop form by its own elasticity under such a state that the elastic wire 10 protrudes from the tip of the sheath. In this case, the elastic wire 10 is of a multistrand type that plural strands 12, each of which is formed of plural strands 11, are twisted together into the elastic wire 10. |
