A selecting part 3 specifies a certain part arranged longitudinally, transversely, diagonally from a place where fallen tops are accumulated, and outputs characters created by combining characters displayed on tops at the selected part. A judging part 4 judges whether characters selected and output by the selecting part 3 exist in a database 5. A player visually compares characters on the fallen tops displayed by the characters displaying part 2 with characters displayed on tops already accumulated, and adjusts falling direction or others with a means provided in a game device 1 so that the combined characters equal to characters which are estimated to be in the database 5.
