<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lifetime of operation, and to lower the cost by circulating the lubricating oil from a differential case to an end surface of a pinion and a side gear, and improving a cross pin spacer assembly for appropriately holding a cross pin with a simple holding plate and a split snap ring. SOLUTION: A helical differential gear device includes a central main body part 4, a flat surface end cover part 6 and a flange end cover part 8, to which a ring gear 10 is fastened by a bolt 11. When the ring gear 10 is driven by a driving pinion 18, a differential gear device is supported by fixed bearings 12, 14, and rotated in a differential case 16 including the oil. The central main body 4 is provided with counter bores 22, 24 for receiving side gears 26, 28 in both sides thereof, and provided with a bore 20 passing through the longitudinal direction. A right and a left ends of the central main body 4 are respectively provided with a counter bore 30 for receiving a helical pinion 32 and a counter bore 34 for receiving a helical pinion 36, and the central main body 4 has flexibility on design.</p> |
