FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: thread feeder has special arrangement for holding braking part at thread braking in housing extension and has additionally support body for braking part holder and movable including cylindrical piston installed for displacement in cylinder and used for shifting braking part between thread braking position and position with clearance relative to accumulating body of thread feeder. piston is installed on support body in form of built-in guide member for support body. At least one guide nose is installed on piston and/or support body at a certain cross distance from piston axis X to prevent turning. This nose is in engagement with guide slot made in extension.
