PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick search for already printed data and prevent the already printed data from being printed again, by displaying printing information on a display device so that printing information not yet printed and printing information already printed can be distinguished from each other. SOLUTION: When a printing mode is set through a predetermined key process and a data number is selected, input data are converted to print data. The print data are stored in a spool Sp. Subsequently, after the print data are transferred to a printer 20, preservation data of printing information are preserved (stored) in an already printed data folder Fm and at the same time deleted from an unprinted data folder Fv. A caption of printing information printed once is displayed at a different screen from that of printing information not yet printed, thereby enabling. an operator to distinguish the not yet printed data and already printed data from each other. Duplicate printing can be prevented by selecting a data number from a display of captions of the not yet printed data folder Fv after the printing. |
