A guide rail cleaner for a sliding frame made from metal or other extrusions consists of a pad (7) of an elastic sponge material which is resistant to ageing, e.g. polyurethane foam, and fixed inside the lower horizontal frame member (1). The pad, held constantly at a given pressure against the guide rail so it cleans its upper surface with every movement of the frame, can be fitted in a rigid holder of parallelepiped or trapezoid shape, fixed in the lower frame member by screws. The holder can be attached to the frame roller assembly (2, 3). |
