The method involves receiving the control signals by a current base station and by other base stations, and determining a reception level of the control signal in the current base station. The reception level is evaluated, and a value range is determined. The value range is compared with a predetermined threshold value, and a decision is made in response to this comparison, in respect of the frequency of the reception and/or the measurement of the reception level of control signals by other base stations.
