A bridge has a floor framing comprising longitudinal girders 2 and transverse girders 3, the framing being prestressed by tension members, e.g. steel cables 4, extending along the girders 2 in a curve, whereby the main supporting structure of the bridge (not shown) and the girders 3 are relieved wholly or partly of the loads. The framing may have a concrete floor plate 1, the cables being anchored at their ends in the plate 1 or on the girders 2.
