Freestanding board with surface and two side legs

Legs (3, 4) move along, and are fixed in, guides (12, 13) on the board. The legs are pre-tensioned near the top or bottom ends by tension springs (19) in a position not coinciding with the lengthwise axes of the guides. Each leg is joined to a horizontal base-strut (5, 6) held pivotally in the guide and having a coupling (16) on their free end for interlocking with the base struts. The legs form a triangular frame (9, 10) with the base struts and one extra strut (7, 8). The top ends of the frame each have a short horizontal part.
