In a laminate with a base, intermediate layer and photopolymerizable or photocurable layer, for making printing plates or reliefs, the intermediate layer contains a copolymer of: (A) an unsaturated dihydrodicyclopentadienyl ester or homologue; (B) a comonomer; and (C) a copolymerizable polymerization initiator activated by radiation. In a laminate with a base, intermediate layer and photopolymerizable or photocurable layer, for making printing or relief plates, the intermediate layer contains a copolymer of: (A) an unsaturated dihydrodicyclopentadienyl ester or homologue of formula (I); (B) a comonomer; and (C) a copolymerizable polymerization initiator activated by radiation.
