Wiper system for motor vehicles

The wiper system has a mounting element (22,24) on the frame tube (10) for interaction with attachments (28,30) on an accessory component in the form of a wash fluid reservoir (26). The mounting elements are formed by a radial widening of the frame tube over at least one predetermined length, and the attachments on the reservoir are locking clips which snap over the radially widened portions of the frame tube. The wash fluid reservoir has another fastening element (34), such as an eye, lug or bracket, for attachment of the reservoir to the vehicle's structure.
