The guide-rail (1) is secured to crossbeams under the garage roof. The guide-rail is a plastics profile with a C-shaped cross-section and incorporates lateral stiffening strips (9) at an angle of 90 degrees to the profile base (3). The plastics profile incorporates stiffening or strengthening preferably glass fibre or carbon fibre.
