The system consists of a number of flexible hooks (8), e.g. of steel, in a channel (7) which receives the lower edge bar (3) of the blind or screen. The bar, e.g. of aluminum or synthetic material, has a lengthwise slot to engage with the hooks when it is pushed into the channel, and the hooks are released to raised the blind/screen by tilting the bar in the channel.
