PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member, which can prevent environmental pollution in a periphery (in a clean room or a medical institution, especially) or deterioration in optical performance in spite of long-term use in an optical system for an optical device requiring highly precise optical performance over a long term or an optical system such as a laser optical system using high output or short, wavelength light, as an optical member in which optical glass is fixed to a metallic holding member by means of an adhesive and to provide an optical device using this optical member as an optical system. SOLUTION: In an optical member provided with an optical glass 11, a metallic holding member 12 holding the optical glass 11, and a solidificated/hardened adhesive 13 fixing the optical glass 11 to the holding member 12, hardness (JIS A) of the solidificated/hardened adhesive 13 is set to be 90 or less, and a ratio (a degassing constituent content ratio) of a degassing constituent contained in the solidificated/hardened adhesive is set to be 0.1% or less. |
