IMAGE BLUR CHECKING DEVICE FOR CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect whether image blur is caused at the time of photographing. SOLUTION: A camera body 10 is provided with a camera control CPU 20, a photographing lens 22 and a shutter 24. The camera control CPU 20 outputs information on the focal distance and the shutter speed at the time of photographing to the CPU 30 of the image blur checking device 12. The CPU 30 starts to read in angular velocity data from an H gyro sensor 32 and a V gyro sensor 34 in response to the closing of an X contact 36. The CPU 30 cyclically reads in the angular velocity data based on an interruption signal from an oscillator(OSC) 38. The CPU 30 calculates the image blur amount based on the information on the focal distance and the shutter speed and the angular velocity data, and turns on an LED 40 so as to inform an operator that the image blur is caused only when the image blur amount exceeds a specified value.
