<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient cooling while lowering a fan speed and air flow impedance and holding sound noise level low by dividing a facing body into parts which are able to operated individually and forming different type air flow fans at the respective parts. SOLUTION: A structure member 34 divides the facing body into two sections to prevent the transmission of radiation and convection heat energy and the passage of air from one section to the other. Here, a fan 48 is aligned with other electronic components which need to be cooled and arranged to eliminate a preheated air state. Further, a sufficient air suction and discharge space is secured on the downstream side to minimize sound noise due to impedance. A fan 160, on the other hand, is arranged almost on the prolongation of a disk drive 128 and a power unit and sends cooling air from the front part to the rear part of a chamber 28, thus serving as an air discharge fan for the disk drive 128.</p> |
