PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To merge printing data of respective printing support tools and to make easily performable a requested printing process, by providing a transaction application program with a process for cutting and merging requesting. SOLUTION: A cutting and merging information generating process 100 makes a request to print the layouts of documents generated by printing support tools A 24 and B 25. On the basis of cutting information and merging information received from a program developer, cutting and merging information tables 31 and 32 are stored in a storage device. Consequently, the layout constitution of a document to be printed is determined. A cutting process 400 receives print data of the printing support tool A 24 and cuts the print data according to the contents of the cutting information table 31. A merging process 500 receives the printing data of the printing support tool B 25, merges the printing data of the printing data table 33 according to the contents of the merging information table 32, and outputs the result as a document 40. |
