LIGHT GUIDE PANEL, SURFACE LIGHT SOURCE USING SAME, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide panel capable of reducing power consumption in a main light source, a surface light source using the light guide panel, and a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A light guide panel 1 is prepared by resin molding using a mold, and plural cylindrical lenses 1b (especially their radiuses are 0.5 mm or more) are formed at the same time in an outdoor daylight take in part 1a. The cylindrical lens 1b has a semi-cylindrical form to constitute a lens for taking in the outdoor daylight efficiently. The light incident from a light incident face 1c and the outdoor daylight are reflected on a light reflecting surface 1d and two side surfaces of the light guide panel 1 to be emitted as composite light having uniform directionality from a light outgoing face 1e.
