PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the manufacturing process by reducing the number of pieces of necessary sealing members in a fuel passage and to easily perform repairment and maintenance of a cell unit in a fuel cell. SOLUTION: This fuel cell comprises a fuel plate 3 formed by opening a recessed part 33 having a rectangular opening on one face area of a flat substrate and mounting a fuel chamber 30 along a bottom face 330 of the recessed part 33; a cell plate 2 comprising a cell wherein an anode 21 is formed on one face of a plate or film electrolyte 20 and a cathode 22 is formed on the other face, and having a size to be fitted to the recessed part 33; and an oxidizer plate 4 comprising an oxidizer chamber 40 on one side of the flat substrate, and having a size fittable to the recessed part 33. The cell plate 2 and the oxidizer plate 4 are positioned and accommodated in the recessed part 33 is such manner that the fuel chamber 30 is positioned at the anode 21 side, and the oxidizer chamber 40 is positioned at the cathode 22 side. |
