PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent theft of an article by transmitting accurate position information as required without intervention of a person so as to locate a position of the article and recognizing quickly an abnormal event so as to transmit error information automatically. SOLUTION: The terminal is provided with a portable telephone set 6 utilizing a radio telephone channel L, a GPS reception antenna 3a receiving a GPS satellite signal, a GPS receiver 3b that calculates its own position from a satellite signal (e) to convert the position into position data X, Y, a sensor input means 4a that receives a sensor signal detecting a fault state, a data control means 4 that reads position data X, Y at least from the GPS receiver 3b to control data input output, and a signal conversion means 5 that converts the position data X, Y into a prescribed signal, and the channel is automatically connected depending on at least a speech call or the telephone channel is connected automatically depending on a state of a sensor signal and position data are transmitted via the radio telephone channel L. |
