PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercam system capable of conducting speeching directly with a visitor whose priority is high even when absent and appropriately dealing with the visitor in accordance with the priority. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an intercom slave device for outputting a voice signal, a control part 11 for operating a recognition processing by retrieving a name table 15 based on the voice signal, and discriminating the priority of the visitor by retrieving a priority table 16 prescribed based on the result of the recognizing processing, and a dial means 13 for transferring the voice signal to a prescribed telephone set, when the priority is high. A message is left for a visitor whose priority is low through a recording means 12, and a message is sussed for informing the visitor of the absence by a voice guidance table 14.
