PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image feature amount comparing device which extracts a color feature from an image as a feature amount and compares images based on the color feature. SOLUTION: RGB values of each pixel of an image are converted into HSL values (S3011). A color group classification table that has classification information which classifies colors into plural color groups based on the values of plural color elements that specify colors is referred to, and colors of each pixel that constitutes an image are counted in each color group (S3012). An average color of each color group is calculated based on the value of each color element of the counted pixel in the color group (S3013). An occupancy ratio that is a ratio in which the counted pixel occupies in the whole image in the color group is calculated in each color group (S3014), and the average color and the occupancy ratio of the color group are extracted as color features in each color group. |
