PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To run a vehicle while restraining shifting shock in case of a sudden shifting caused by damage of a hydraulic system. SOLUTION: A hydraulic controller is provided with a trunnion pinched between input and output discs 28, 29 and for supporting power rollers 30, 31 so as to be freely tilted and rolled, a hydraulic cylinder for driving the trunnion in the axial direction, a step motor 152 and a shift control valve for controlling oil pressure to the hydraulic cylinder on the basis of line pressure so as to obtain the target gear ratio determined according to the operating state of a vehicle, and a line pressure solenoid valve 528 for controlling line pressure to the shift control valve, and a set value of line pressure is decreased when the actual shifting speed exceeds a specified value. |
