PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a main object based on appropriate exposure in accordance with a distance up to the object, as for an electronic camera, etc., using a flashing device. SOLUTION: The device is provided with plural photometry circuits 4a and 4b having a different photometry system and a distance information detection circuit 6 for detecting the information on a distance up to the object. And, the photometric values of the photometry circuits 4a and 4b and which are obtained when the light is preliminarily emitted by the flashing device 9 are selected in accordance with the distance information obtained by the circuit 6, then, the light quantity of the normal light emission by the flashing device 9 is controlled by using the selected photometric value. |
