The access (5,8) to a lower floor (6) and/or an upper floor (4) may be locked relative to the entry area (3) by a rolling gate (12), which is moved into locked position. The gate to lock access to the upper floor is integrated in the ceiling (13) of the carriage (1). To lock access to the lower floor, the gate is integrated in the floor (7,9,10) of the entry section, the upper floor or the lower floor. The gate consists of connected steel plates, and is operated from the train driver's cab.
