<p>A mobile communication system and method for determining cell relations between cells is disclosed. The invention makes use of strongly coded predefined messages sent from MSs (or BSs) and received in a plurality of radio ports. Measurements of the received messages are reported to a central unit for processing and/or storage. The transmission and reception of the predefined messages is ordered from the central unit. The central unit can also clear interference on a certain frequency to allow for reliable reception in remote receivers.</p> |
