The spinning gyro toy (1) has a number of disk layers (6-11) with a central drilling. The disks are of a material which can be chewed or dissolved as a partially prepared candy sweet. The majority of the disk layers are in a meat color, and only a few are of colored fruit gum or other sweet and colored substances. The base (2) is of a molded or hardened sugar, with an opening to take the center holding pin (3).
