A crimp-type spring contact (1), including a connection part for an electrical conductor (2) and a contact point (3) having a box-shaped spring arm base (4), with spring arms (5,6) extending out from the base for contacting a plug-in contact. The spring arm base (4) is designed in cross-section at right angles to a floor-wall (8), a top wall (9) and two side walls (10,11). The spring arm extending from the floor wall and from the top wall, is each divided by a longitudinal slit (12,13) into spring lamellae (5a,5b or 6a,6b) with the longitudinal slit (13), which forms the spring lamellae extending from the top wall, cutting through the top wall depending on manufacturing requirements. The longitudinal slit (12) which forms the lamellae running from the floor wall, extends into the floor wall and at its end runs into a transverse slit (16) in the floor wall.
