<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a separate face plate with a head main body regardless of the material of time face plate, without performing welding through direct application of heat to the face plate itself. SOLUTION: A face plate 3a stored in a recess 5 in a head main body 2 is formed in the shape of a dovetail ledge whose edge 3b at its depth broadens toward the center of the head main body more than a face surface 3c does. An annular locking element 4 made from the same kind of material as the head main body is provided in a gap between the edge 3b of the face plate 3a and the inner edge 5b of the recess 5 and is welded to the inner edge of the recess so as to firmly join the face plate 3a with the head main body 2.</p> |
