PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct printer in which same quantity of print material can be flown to each hole of a print head and stuck to a sheet board. SOLUTION: The insulating sheet of a print head has a plurality of rows of holes 56a, 56b and 56c for passing a print material. A pair of electrodes comprising first and second electrodes 68a, 68b, 68c and 70a, 70b, 70c are disposed in the vicinity of each hole 56. The first and second electrodes 68, 70 are connected with drivers 72, 76 and 80 and when first and second image signals are applied, respective, to the first and second electrodes 68, 70, the print material on a holding member 30 located oppositely to the electrode applied with the image signal is activated and flied into a hole facing a back face electrode. The second image signal has a pulse voltage and a pulse duration determined depending on the distance from a holding member 36 to the hole 56. According to the arrangement, a substantially same quantity of print particles is flown to each hole and a dot of same size is formed on a sheet board. |
