PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tail seal device of a TBM(tunnel boring machine) which has a simple construction and improved work efficiency and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: The arrangement is such that a wire brush 41 is provided at an end of a tail of a TBM 2 and a reverse rotation preventing material 42 and a push plate 43 are oppositely disposed across the brush 41. In the tail seal device 4 of the TBM 2, a pressure type rubber tube 44, as an urging means of the plate 43 for the brush 41, is disposed on the rear side of the plate 43 to bring the brush 41 into close contact with the ground. |
