<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating fly ash-containing waste gas and a treating device thereof ink which not only the removal of acidic gas such as gaseous SO2 contained in waste gas with high efficiency but also the stabilizing treatment of fly ash can be performed in a reaction tank at the same time and reduction of the volume of landfill treating material generated associated with fly ash treatment can be attained. SOLUTION: In the reaction tank 1, waste gas is subjected to gas-liquid contact with absorbing liquid containing alkaline components being absorbent with pH kept in the range of 2.0 to 6.0 to absorb acidic gas into the absorbing liquid and oxidize it, thereby fixing gaseous SO2 as sulfate ions and also extracting heavy metals contained in fly ash by the absorbing liquid to stabilize them. And then, after the waste gas discharged from the reaction tank 1 is cooled until moisture therein is not condensed in the dust collector 32 down the reaction tank 1, in the dust collector 32, the fly ash remaining in the waste gas is collected.</p> |
