PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject inhibitor having a good targeting to an insulin- acting site, long duration, permitting the preparation of safe medicines free from immunogenicity and useful cosmetics for preventing the aging of the skin by using a specific insulin-binding active polypeptide. SOLUTION: This insulin binding inhibitor contains (A) an insulin A chain, (B) an insulin B chain, and (C) at least one kind of polypeptide selected from the group consisting of insulin B chain polypeptides expressed by formulas I, II and III each containing a collagen-binding activity site as active ingredients. The inhibitor is used as a medicine for preventing and treating diseases caused by the functions of insulin, such as primary diabetes on operative stress, in the dosage form of a liquid, a lotion, an ointment, a gel, tablets, capsules or the like or in a preparation form adhered to, bound to or encapsulated with a solid substrate, an endemic device, a transplanting piece or the like. |
