PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a base section from being abraded by the slide contact of the edge portion of glass by fitting a grip to the base section of an extrusion mold section near a die forming section located on a waist line. SOLUTION: A grip 10 fitted to a glass run 20 fitted to an automobile door 30 is fitted to a fitting hole 22 formed on the base section 21 of an extrusion mold section near a die forming section located on a so-called waist line W to prevent the edge portion 32 of a door glass 31 from being brought into strong contact with the base section 21 of the die forming section. The grip 10 is constituted of an assembly section 12 having a large-diameter head section 13 unextractably pressed into a fitting hole 22 formed on the glass run 20 and a small-diameter barrel section 14 and a main body section 11 fixedly located on the upper face of the base section 21. The abrasion of the base section 21 can be prevented, thereby the durability of the glass run 20 can be largely improved. |
