A method and system for translating stamp characteristics

Method and system aspects for facilitating automatic scaling of a stamp characteristic for a stamp on a digital image captured with an image capture unit are disclosed. A method aspect, and system for providing same, determines a selected size of a stamp characteristic for a given image. Further included is the translation of the selected size into pixels, wherein the stamp characteristic scales with a change in size of the given image.
