The wiper blade (12) carries a cylindrical connector (34), which is mounted to pivot around a transverse axis (A2), in a housing at the connection point. The connector has a transverse groove (36), which, when the connector is to be fitted, opens radially towards the exterior, forming a slot (26), by which the connecting rod (16), on the wiper arm (24), is fitted radially inwards into the groove. The connector is then rotated around the axis (A2) into the locked position.
