A lightwave oven having top and bottom walls with non-planar reflecting surfaces (30, 50, 130), a side wall forming a reflecting cylinder with a circular, elliptical, or polygonal cross section, first and second pluralities of elongate heat lamps (36-39, 56-59, 136-139) disposed adjacent the top and bottom walls respectively. The top and bottom walls include reflecting channels or cups (40, 62, 160-163).
