<p>An encoded stream in which time codes annexed to original data are described correspondingly to each picture is generated. A video encoder (16), an audio encoder (17), and an AC3 encoder (18) respectively record the information on the time codes annexed to the original data in areas which can exist at every decoding and reproducing unit (picture, audio frame) in each data structure of a video elementary stream, an audio elementary stream, and an AC3 stream and in which arbitrary data can be recorded.</p> |
