Gas flow measurement method for gas conductor

The method involves leading a partial stream of the gas from the conductor through a bypass which is heated, so that a temperature distribution is formed along the wall of the bypass, depending on the flow of gas through the conductor. A temperature difference is determined from the temperature distribution, and the gas flow is calculated from this temperature difference over a conversion element which is formed using the temperature and a pressure of the gas. An Independent claim is included for a thermic gas through-flow meter.
