Use of chitosan or derivatives in latexes

Chitosan and/or its derivatives is used: (i) for rendering latexes antiallergenic; (ii) for surface treating latexes ; (iii) as a vulcanization aid in the production of latexes ; and (iv) as a water-binding agent in latex gloves.
