<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a terminal equipment and a case structure in which the intrusion of liquid to the inside part of a terminal equipment such as a POS terminal equipment can be prevented, and to realize a terminal equipment in which the intrusion of liquid from a slit for inserting a card can be especially prevented at the time of providing a card reading mechanism for reading a card especially such as a magnetic card or an IC card. SOLUTION: An upper edge part 2a of a slit 2 provided at a device case 1a is formed so as to be projected forward from a lower edge part 2b. Also, a protrusion 2c functioning as a projecting a bucket is formed at the top end of the upper edge part 2a across almost the whole length of the slit 2. Moreover, a chamfer 2f is formed at the top end of the lower edge part 2b, and the intrusion of liquid from the slit 2 to the inside part of the device can be effectively prevented.</p> |
