TIME CODE RECORDER OF MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time code recorder which is capable of continuously and surely recording time code information at prescribed timing even at the time of high-speed recording for a magnetic recording and reproducing device which records video signals and the time code information on recording tracks. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a time code correction circuit 3 which makes the prescribed correction of the reference time code information outputted from a time code generating circuit 1 by basing on a mode signal 9 outputted from a system control circuit 2. Plural pieces of the time code information freshly formed by this time code correction circuit 3 are simultaneously recorded at the prescribed timing, by which the continuous and sure recording of the time code information in the recording tracks even at the high-speed recording is made possible.
