PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical memory device capable of improving the regenerative signal quality of the case super-high resolution regeneration is applied to a reflectivity change type optical recording medium. SOLUTION: This method consists in reproducing the information recorded on an optical disk having a recording layer 14 for reproducing the information by irradiation with reproducing light and a super-high resolution regeneration film 12 arranged on the light incident side thereof. In such a case, the device has a first reproduction system consisting of a light source 21, a beam splitter 22, an objective lens 23 and a photodetector 24 and a second reproduction system consisting of a light source 31, beam splitter 32, an objective lens 33 and a photodetector 34. The intensity of the reproducing light from the light source 31 is corrected in accordance with the first regenerative signal system 25 obtd. by the first reproduction system and the information recorded on the optical disk 10 is identified and reproduced by an identification and reproduction circuit 36 from the second regenerative signal system 35 obtd. by the second reproduction system. |
