PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the image exposure device by which the production of color slurring is prevented at low cost. SOLUTION: An R(red) laser beam, a G(green) laser beam and a B(blue) laser beam, emitted respectively from laser light sources 210R, 210G, 210B scan and expose print paper 224 via each collimater lens 212, an acousto-optical modulating element(AOM) 214, a plane mirror 215, a spherical lens 216, a cylindrical lens 217, a polygonal mirror 218, an fθlens 220, a cylindrical lens 221, a cylindrical mirror 222, and a reflecting mirror 223. Then an fθlens 220 is designed so that the color aberration characteristic of the R laser beam and that of the B laser beam are almost identical to each other, and the scanning clock frequency for the R and B laser beams and the scanning clock frequency of the G laser beam are decided, so that the scanning length of the R and B laser beams and the scanning length of the G laser beam are almost identical to each other, thereby making the scanning length for all the laser beams almost identical. |
