PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the arrival temperature of each part of a fixing roller at limiting temperature or below regardlessly of the size of paper sheet and to prevent productivity from being reduced due to the lowering of paper carrying speed because images are concurrently formed by plural image forming means by switching the image forming speed of the image forming means based on the size of paper sheet detected by an image forming speed switching means. SOLUTION: An original is set by a user, and also paper size, the number of copies and the designation of a distributing mode to divide and execute jobs by image forming devices 1a and 1b are inputted through a control panel. Next, job distributing processing to divide the jobs between the devices 1a and 1b is performed. Then, the jobs allotted to copying devices A and B are respectively executed. Controllers 2a and 2b switch the paper carrying speed in the devices A and B to two kinds of speed, that is, ordinary carrying speed and carrying speed at the time of constant speed operation in accordance with the size of paper A3t, B4t,..., A5T. |
