PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts by simplifying the circuit constitution for abnormality detection. SOLUTION: This abnormality detector is provided with a position detector 20 which detects the positions of the magnetic poles of three phases of a motor 10 and outputs a positional signal for every phase. This abnormality detector receives each positional signal of the position detector 20 and produces, separately for each phase, the drive voltage corresponding to the set number of revolutions, based on the positional signal of each phase. In addition, this receives the positional signal of one phase out of the positional signals of three phases of the positional detector 20, and outputs an abnormality signal when the error in revolution between the actual number of revolutions of the motor 10 computed from one phase signal and the set number of revolutions gets over a specified value. |
